Chinese dragons represent power, strenght, and good luck. They are shown as long, scaly, and have four legs. It makes an awesome tattoo that you can use to make your own.
Some people get a dragon just because it looks cool, but I think that you should always do your research before getting any kind of tattoo. It pays off in the long run, and if people ask why you got a particular tattoo you will be able to answer.
Another great peice of chinese culture is the flower. They represent the natural nectar that brings growth, fulfillment and new, prosperous beginnings into our lives. They are also used as good fortune and success. LIke anything else, just because it is just a flower, you need to do some research as to what it means in the culture. Choosing the flower type could represent your entire life or a stage in your life. It is a great way to make it even more personal to you.
You could also mix any of the above designs and come up with a one of a kind that blows everything else out of the water. You could get your name, a dragon for your willingness to never give up, and a flower to bring you good fortune. This is just an example, but you get the idea.
