What would happen if yellowstone exploded?

i have been closely watchin the yellowstone monitoring site regarding recent earthquake activity at the park, which everyone knows is a super volcano. there has been over 250 earthquakes since 12/25/08 http://www.seis.utah.edu/req2webdir/recenteqs/Maps/Yellowstone_full.html If this thing blows what would be the outcome of humankind? would we go into martial law? or anarchy? How long would it erupt?

Geologists and I aren’t clairvoyant.

So, we really don’t know of when this supervene is going to explode. It’s estimated though that every 600,000 years it blows and it’s overdue for an eruption. But, when it explodes many things would die off, such as plants because plants need photosynthesis in order to survive. Many people unfortunately, will die too and it will cause a lot of destruction in the United States the most. It would also effect other parts of the world due to a nuclear winter.
